The Stoke collection are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces from the wood-fired anagama kiln out in the Cochise Stronghold of Arizona. This really special firing lasted 4 days and 3 nights, rose to and held at a temperature of 2300*F and involved a wonderful team of 35+ potters working around the clock to keep the flame alive.

These pieces were made and handled lovingly over the course of 5 months by a human and vary slightly in size and have unique differences and wonderful imperfections. This type of firing is wild and unpredictable. The elements are at play - wind, fire, earth.. ashes, embers, flames kiss the sides of the clay and cause all kinds of mysterious, miraculous moments to occur. Each one is totally unique, from every angle.. much like each one of us.
