This cup has a hand-dipped highlight of sandstone glaze along the upper lip, which gives it some beautiful dimension and contrasts nicely with the eggshell white wash. The texture of the flared crystal bursts in the glaze also offer a treat for your hands. This cup was thrown on the wheel using a dover white clay that when fired looks like the color of a weathered piece of bone you might find while out exploring in the desert.
